It should only need replacing if you crack it. I've not had one break yet and I've been using Ody's for some time now.

To add to what steve said, my first ody came with the very first batch that were made, early last year- due to an issue with soap in the ceramics they needed to be put to flame to burn the offending soap away, my ceramic got broken when re-fitting. I ordered another and fitted that and to this day it's still 100% good. If you leave the buggas alone and don't mistreat them they will last years

thanks guys , think i will order a spare at some point just in case , im thinking about getting a clear tank for my choddy , which tank do i need to buy so i dont have to buy the full kit , finances are a bit tight at the mo

Depends- do you want it to hold more juice? or a lot more juice? or a tank the same size?
Mid sized tanks I find to be the best in balance

small one it is then until i can afford the medium with mouthpiece, i like the look of them with the clear tanks, hmm which colour should i go for , the blue looks pretty cool

The blue is quite nice. It has an almost violet tint to it. The only problem I found is that it is hard to see the actual level of your liquid in it.

The orange is more transparent.

this is the medium tank from rampage with the standard mouth piece, may be a little small for some but still very usable if that's what you wanted to use 'til you get the cash for the other mouth piece.

mev i think it looks great with that short mouthpiece, whats the mm length of that tank?

that looks great mev , a shorter mouth piece wouldnt bother me at all but if it does i can use the blakey method , how much juice does the medium tank hold?

the medium tank is 23mm compared to the 17mm original tank and holds 2.8ml if I remember correct. I think I posted more details earlier in this thread and some pics of both tanks used together to get 6.4ml capacity.
