thanks for the info steve do you know why the oddy has a second 9 x 2 o ring on the mouth piece but under the the tank cap?? My cheap one came like that. Can you post a picture of your ody and we should be able to tell you which version you have. The cheap ones will not fit an o-ring in the top cap. I just about managed to force an o-ring from an old driptip into the gap.

Ive ordered two rings and a ceramic from Guru so when i get them i will let you know if they fit to give us a wider scope on interchangeable parts. Just to make you aware bacon, those rings on guru are for the dripping mode. The rings have the same threading but are thinner than the standard ring. Finally got the two rings in stainless the dripper ones as mentioned above. As it turns out the thread on the Choddy holder is just of a poorer quality, or at least they have not been run through so to speak so a bit bitty if that makes sense. All i did was use a bit of fairy liquid as a lubricant and just worked the ring back and forth with my fingers so it cleaned the threads of the holder until i could spin it freely. I tried the second ring after and it went on perfect and both as smooth as butter now. The small ring actually fits very nice especially with the knurls removed from the mouthpiece and it's stainless so i'm a happy bunny. So the parts are interchangeable between the Oddy and Choddy it's just that the Choddy holder where it has been cut for the ceramic has not been finished off to a higher standard and a left with a few straggly bits. regards Eggy

I've just left the 2 mouth piece orings where they are, haven't tried to do anything beyond me with more orings and I just take the larger top cap off to fill it.

Nautilus long mode arrived today set it up using Blakey's tutorial and it is great .Its nearly as big as the large tank set up that I had to buy from Korea and this is great.I will have to strip the first Nautilus down now to see why there is such a difference in everything as the first one was never this good

You could try a thicker wick, also ensure that the bottom o ring is seating correctly. And the top ring incidentally, I dont have a choddy but I have a V1 Original, if they can compare.

Blakey always recommends doing that Z shaped thing with one of the wires Bones to avoid leaking, rather than trapping it . . . you're filling it up with the juice control closed?

Go back to page 25 of this thread and follow the guide to the letter Its probably trapping the negative wire that's causing this

im using 3mm with an extra wick across the top both wrapped with the coil i think it would be a struggle to get any thicker to seat properly in the ceramic channels i might be wrong on that just my observation in regards to the bottom o ring when i have cleared gurgle away and left the atty sat with the juice control shut for a while its still clear wouid that not suggest that the oring is seated ok?? i might be wrong on this too
