Just rebuilt the old nautilus.There is no way that a double wick fits in this (must be different from the oddy)ohm reading 1.5 no gurgle yet will use now and await developments

i think mine must be over wickin as i have 3x3 goin over the top!!
the coil is running at 2.3ohm(so says the vamo) as i used 0.18 wire

changes this time
lubed bottom 3x2 oring
thinner wick2x2mm 1x1mm

i know its all down to personnel preference but how open do you have your juice control??

i not trying to copy you or anything like that would just like a figure so i know im in the ball park and not standing outside the stadium so to speak #attachment#

i am also hearing i small popping sound around 5-10 ish secs after i have vaped on the device .it sound very similar to a tiny bubble bursting as its after this that i get a gurglin.
any ideas mate

Copy me all you like mate, that's what the guide is for.

When you say 2x2mm + 1x1mm wick are you trying to fit all that into the channels down the side of the ceramic?
They are only wide enough for 3mm in total of wick.
So 1x2mm + 1x1mm for the channels and a small 2mm length at the point where you wrap the coil, this bit does not go down the side channel.
Make sure that you prime the wick well with juice and assemble and fill. After 2 or 3 puffs I open the juice control about 3/4 of a turn and pretty much leave it till the tank is half empty then I open it a little more.
the popping is the juice bubbling on the coil, same as the fat spits when you fry an egg

sorry mate i should of made it a little clearer

1x 2mm+1mm across the top and down the channels plus an extra 2mm across the top

the slight popping sound happens when there is no power to the coil and preceeds the slight flooding i get

but saying that its working a lot better it the min the thinner wick has improved matters no end

how does air get into the tank to replace the used juice? as the only way i can see is pest the wicks is this right??

do you leave juice control open even when not in use??

Yep, air can only get into the tank via the wick channels. As you suck through the mouthpiece you also create a sort of vacuum that draws juice up. That's why you should only set it for a really tight draw when you are using very low res coils or high voltage. If the juice isn't being evaporated quick enough then you overwhelm the coil and flood.

no gurgles so far i think i have kracked the bugerr

i think i might have to get a clreat tank tho untitil i get used to how it works and how quick it uses juice up

could some one just remind me how to get a slightly tighter draw??

It will mean taking it to pieces again and altering the centre pin up slightly

Just as a follow up, got mine on my new Vamo today and it's working perfect. Double 3mm wick @ top single 3mm down the channels and a home made welded coil at 2ohm. Really can't see it getting any better than this.
