It finally arrived

Here are some pics of it







The next one shows it after I swapped out the insides for the V2 ceramic holder and added the tank and mouth piece from Sotong.



The threads are all very smooth and I quite like the brushed finish.

Very pleased with it so far.

Obviously, given the choice I would rather buy an original. All the ones that I have bought so far have been off the classifieds because they are just not available to buy new.

That is a medium mode. Using a tank and mouth piece from Singapore.

In what way is the V2 housing and ceramic better other than grounding the wire?

Does it improve the vape?

The only issue I've found so far is that the ceramic holder in the German one will not fit inside a real ody. Or the real ody drip mode base. Strange really as the real v2 ceramic holder fits inside the german base fine.

Not that anyone would want to put the german ceramic holder inside a real ody

It just means you can get a better seal when tightening the ring down. Also, the v2 ceramics do not have the little legs at the bottom that are normally easy to break off.

It's also easier if you need to take the insides out to clean or put in to the dripping mode base. You don't have to worry about fastening the negative under the ring again each time.

I was a bit against this when I first saw it to be honest. But after the way some GG fan boys reacted to some questions I asked Imeo on ECF, I'd say get in there. Imeo's responses were great by the way. We had a good discussion. Just had to ignore all the minions.
