In the 7 years since me and Mrs Marty split, i have never seen a single Reality TV show or Soap, but it seems like they are growing (reality shows). What possesses people to watch has been's and wannabe's making total fools of themselves ?

ummmmm because I watch them all..........I know on an intellectual level they are mindless, mind numbing, brainless, awful rubbish but I have to watch it! I wish I wasn't admitting it, but it's true!

Well, we have stopped watching fix- factor for that very reason, it is fixed and the best person will never win, as for i used to be a celebrity, help me earn some cash, it's boring now so we don't watch that either

I agree Queenie, from our schooling to our viewing to allowing us to drink ourselves stupid...... I am pretty sure it's all to dumb us down and shut us up and make us conform........seems to be working though.

I don't watch them - I can't bear them as they're all so formulaic.
Basically a load of talentless narcissists having hissy fits.

For a long time I haven't been able to receive British telly.
Now my satellite kit is on the blink and I'm not sure I want to
spend the money to replace it.
I'm seriously considering going TV free for the first time since
I was a student, plus anything worth seeing can be got on the
interweb these days.
