Hi folks. I've had my RTA for a couple of week or so now but I just cant get a decent tape off of it. Every coil I've made just produces a nasty burnt flavour. I've tried less coils and more coils ranging from 1.5ohm up to about 3.5ohm and I just can't seem to nail it. I've tried it with different juices and on different mods but it's just not happening. I was really looking forward to getting this atty but I'm starting to despair. I understand that these things take time and practise and that it's all down to operator error but I haven't even fluked a good one yet... Please help!!!

The only real reason for the burnt taste is a strangled wick, How tight are you winding them coils?
Try using a splint, something like a pin or a needle alongside the wick to wind your coils around and remove it before fitting to the RDA.
also, you only need about an inch and a half in length of wick, just enough trailing so that it goes 3/4s of the way around the bowl.
