Congratulations Wills And Kate

Lovely to hear some good news for a change. Kate is preggers!!
She is in hospital with very bad morning sickness apparently. Something i sufffered with with both my girls all the way through even in labour! So i can sympathise with that.
Here's hoping all goes well for them. After all it will be a future king or queen.

Just watched the news.... Cameron had 2 get his face on tv about it...even the ccat got up and went out

lol...no doubt Tim!! But i think bad news for us was already on its way before the good news broke. I heard somewhere on TV the other day that an announcement is due re our taxes. Don't know what though.
Still, a baby on the way is always good news....well...mostly

5th December the right dishonorable evil George Osbourne will update parliament with lies, mis-information about the UK economy and new measures on how to make the working people, the poor, sick and disabled more miserable and destitute, whilst announcing an update on the tax break for, once again the very very rich

Give the Queen the power back, would love to hear "off with their heads", a good "hung drawn and quartered" might make for a good history lesson

Slap is the mildest of words I'd use, but what are the alternatives? Where's the next Churchill when we need him? ???

Yes, after watching a thoroughly absorbing doco on glacier studies in the arctic in the middle of the night last night, by the end of this century the sea level will have risen by over a metre, so the wee mite they have may well HAVE to help save the planet!! I shall be drumming into the head of my little grandchildren to make sure they buy a house at the top of the hill and not the bottom!! Look at north Wales already

They pay more tax than starbucks, and make less, yes, some taxpayer money goes into Royal occasions, state visits, business and international promotion. Less than MP's expense accounts

However the estates, palaces are mostly self funded through money made from the crown estate (rents / farming / property etc.), the rest is made via tourism, or owned businesses.

It's a real shame we have lost respect for this nations Royal Family, and especially how they helped and served this country during WWII, and have since and continued to serve our armed forces, and have had the best interest of this nation at heart.

Lovely news that Mrs. Mini-Queen will be hatching an egg in the not too distant future.............However, parliament are a tad put out about having their front page news on tackling Starbucks, Amazon & the like over tax dodging, knocked off the top spot, as it did cover up the fact that their doing the same anyway for a brief time.

I can understand where you're coming from, BUT... I still think the Royal Family is an asset to the country. The major Royals are great, the minors not so, and I'd be on your side there. The likes of Wills & Harry are doing jobs that most of us wouldn't dare, and they probably don't need to do, but choose to do out of a patriotic spirit.

Life is not as I remember it from years ago, and a bit of fantasy to brighten it up is OK with me.
