I found a small (2mm? long) bit of rubber inside the drip tip that comes with the nova and had the same problem so I replaced the drip tip with another one. Also you can just throw it away too, once it's loose it's not worth trying to put it back in as it just makes everything taste a bit flat (if you know what I mean).

I only have the vision drip tips apart from this and they dont fit Sandra..............................Ah.... Firin....so I either need to buy another or leave the rubber/plastic thing out?

Ive taken it out am puffing as we speak and so far so good..............thanks everybody......After all these months you would think that I would know what I was doing and most of the time I do........I love this forum as theres always someone here to help when problems arise

Mary, it may be worth your while getting some spare 510 drip tips. They're not expensive and can come in very handy
