I'm thinking of buying a Provari but I don't know which one. Looks like I can buy a regular sized one with blemishes for $160 or pay $180 for a perfect mini. I'll be buying it in the US so I suppose I will have to buy the charger and batteries separately.
I can't choose the colour of the regular size but I'm not that pushed about colour. On the other hand, I don't know whether the regular sized model would be too bulky and heavy.
What do you suggest I do?

Depends how much you vape. If you are a heavy vaper, get the regular sized one as you can use 18500 (1100mah) batteries, then get the extension cap and use 18650 (2000mah). Im not a heavy vaper, but have a vape every hour or so, and I can go through almost 2 18350's in a day on a provari mini. The 18500 almost lasts me a full day.

I prefer the mini cos it suits my dainty paws better than the full size. That said the full size with an 18650 battery is a good 8-10 hours vaping time.
Be very careful about buying from USA - if its assessed for customs duty & taxes these could add another 30%-ish to your purchase price.
There are plenty of UK Vendors selling ProVaris (handy if you're unlucky to have problems) & if you look in the Classifieds I think there are a couple for sale.

I go through one and a half 18350 batteries a day, the 18650 lasts me a day and a half to two days, the mini also suits my hands better the full size is to big with extention cap and I don't tend to use it much, in fact I have lent it out and only just remembered now we are talking about it, shows how often it is used! But the mini is always by my side and could prob squish anyone who tried to touch it

As Clutty says, it's a guaranteed certainty that you'll have to pay Customs on a Provari from the US . . . add £25-£30 to your calculations Addict. If you have smallish hands, I'd choose a Mini with an extension cap, you'd have the best of a couple of worlds then with the 18350 & 18490 batteries you can could use.

i use about a frans ker tank per 24hrs (3ml). i use 2 18500s in this time, i have 3 batteries and just charge 2 when flat, well not flat but when they get too 3.7. i think i would prefer the mini for size but wouldnt want too change batteries any more often than i do now. i dont have an extension and i dont really want a device any longer than it is now. i dont suppose my comments help you really op but too me the long and short of your dilemma really is down to device length and battery hours. you simply cant have both ways, and if you prefer vaping at a higher voltage (i am only at 3.8) then the mini is going to mean plenty of battery swaps, so the higher you vape at must be considered. i think now i should maybe have got the mini with an extension as when im out i do like to be discreet and be able to fully palm my device, im not too fussed what people think i just get fed up with explaining what it is/does only for the person too look totally confused or think im somewhat odd. oh and as stated elsewhere the full one can in some peoples eyes be confused with a mini "mini pleaser" although thats probably for another type of forum. either way they are an excellent device. raggy............

Keep an eye on the classifieds, for some strange reason there seems to have been quite a few Provoaris for sale at decent prices lately. I got the full sized V1, and I like it a lot

Thanks everyone for your help. If I do buy one I think I'll go for the standard size and just keep it at home and use the ego Twists for out and about. I'm a heavy vaper and want something that will last all day.
I'm in Ireland so buying from a UK vendor is no advantage to me. I bought a lot of stuff from the UK before I discovered the Irish vendors........postage is very expensive. I'll suffer the tax costs but in this instance I want to have someone in the States buy it and send it to me because it's made in America and they can deal with customer service should there be any problems with it.
I'm a bit worried about the batteries and battery charger. What battery charger do you use? I would prefer a charger that can switch itself off when the battery is fully charged.

An Xtar would be a good choice Addict . . . a number of Vendors stock this now, Vapist, Safercigs & Vape Escape being just a couple. And, Provape do advise using AW's in their devices, otherwise you nullify the warranty if you use anything else.

Thanks Perpetua. I can buy the AW batteries locally. I'll have a look at the Xtar.
