From what I know, the Jac vGos are on a par with other eGo batteries, and there was an unconfirmed report of someone getting a 4.0v vGo2. Personally, I'd hold fire on an ultra-low resitance atty until I'd checked it out. 2.0 ohms on a 3.7 gets hot enough thank you....

Does anyone know what voltage the jac operates at? If it is, for example, 3.7 volts then even 2.0 may be too much. I have the bauway, 2.0 ohms (supposed to be 1.9 I think) and 3.2 volts is all it needs. btw i think the bauway is a great thing to have for testing juices, but far too much bother for regular use. Don't know if this helps in telling the voltage of my VGO 2 but it comes with a 4.2 volt charger. Dale

Your jac won't pump out 4.2 volts. Dale I think the bauway (and i guess the Cisco) is a lovely thing to own because the taste is so good, but I think it is a confusion at this point. It is a hassle to use, and expensive if you use it all the time (like all attys they don't last forever). I think that most people who use them have a variable voltage device so they can dial the taste back to something reasonable. If you are used to a clearo then I think you'd be better off just getting a good one. If you can afford to try other stuff out as well then imo Chrissie's LR carto would be the first on the list.

Until a few days ago I could never quite see the full picture of VV batteries. Last night I did some Maths with the help of a friend, trying to better understand all the possibilities with using different resistance atomisers and batteries. My recent coils have come out at about 2.8-3.0 ohms, which is a little high let's face it. However vaping on these at full power on a Spinner is at least as good as a genuine 1.8 on a 3.7 battery. It's fairly complicated, but I do understand a lot more now.

The Cisco atomisers are very good - I believe they did the original spec. for 306 atomisers and led the way in their development. I wouldn't put anything much less that 2 ohms on a Riva/ eGo/ Jacvaper type battery, though you would probably be OK with 1.8 If you go for a 306, remember to get the correct type of drip tip to go with them.

I guess you are coiling something fancy. In my experience, whatever volts you use, you can't get anything like the flavour of a 306 from a Nova, Cart (LR or not) or direct dripping on an ordinary mesh 510 atty, because the juice burns first. I confess I am surprised to see so much about direct dripping, particularly on a beginners thread. Maybe there's more of you drippers than I thought. Might be interesting to do one of those vote things, see how many use clearos, how many carts, how many drip. Anybody who does buy a 306 might like to look at the instructions bit of this www.wize-cigs.co.uk/Bauway_306_bridge_less_Atomizer_LR_15ohm/p1001224_6373608.aspx(Don't know whether or not that is a good place to buy them)

Update, went and bought myself an adapter to make my VGO 2 accept 510 fittings which works fine and 5 Boge LR cartomisers. Filled one of my carts with caramel and one with mixed fruits and after a couple of minutes vaping on both they taste like they are on fire and have this vile burnt taste, what's going on, any clues.

I've been vaping for 4 months now , mainly using Kanger carts & Ego C's , tried the AGA-T & S but found them way to fiddley/hit and miss , got better results from a mini DiD clone which is pretty good but one of the best buys was the IGO-L , much better flavour and vape .......so I've just ordered the Bauway from VE and the a Phoenix rebuildale from Vapestall landed this morning ......dripping , for me , has vastly improved my vaping experience

Oh dear. It is possible that the JAC is running at too high a voltage, but - Make sure the stuff in your cart is nice and mushy (top up by dripping down the side). Try shorter drags - rather than taking a long one you can get the throat hit by sucking in a little into your mouth and then (with the battery off) sucking in air sharply to inhale it.

I think you've done something wrong. Only time I ever did this, the cartos weren't actually full. However, there is one other possibility. JacVapour use high resistance cartomizers. I have tested the occasional one and they are considerably higher than anything from boge or kanger in even standard resistance. The reasons for this are presumably to stop people vaping their way through tons of liquid on the mini e-cigs. It is possible that the output on your vGo2 battery is too high for a low resistance carto... Maybe someone on here could tell us if they have vaped at a "guaranteed" 4.2 volts or so with a low resistance cartomiser. Personally, I wouldn't do it. On a freshly charged and recently bought battery, you could be well over the threshold for burning, mathematically.

Thanks for your views guys, looks like this is maybe time for me to invest in one of those Vamo's to get more flavour. Dale
