I agree Phoenix, i'm not keen on Innokin cartomisers either, I much prefer Boge, but these new Innokin clearos really are good

I decided to test run the Kanger MT3. They are quite heavy by comparison to other clearomisers, but no leaks, well made easy fill and the bottom unscrews for replacement part. I don't know how cost effective this is going to be yet. # #

I don't know how cost effective this is going to be yet. I have a few T3s. I DO like them, but they are not such a great buy for "cheapest-possible" vaping. Firstly, it's taken me about 3 weeks to get good at changing the coils (so it's 30p not £2.49) and secondly, because they are located in the cylinder/tank submerged in liquid, if the wick is too narrow or too thick, you either get leaking or dry puffs. I might perfect it, then again, they owe me nothing and I have another Nova on the way. I can't afford lots of bases, so re-wicking is essential. I just wish I knew why people get weeks out of them but I find the coils gunk up and get bad flavour (which is not just on these, I might add) quickly.

Depends on many factors..... I normally use 100% PG in them, occasionally 80-20 PG, which helps - too much VG I think gunks them up quicker.. Don't over-use them before washing out, and leave in airing cupboard at least overnight before re-using. I normally get 4 weeks-ish out of a clearo, but that's using it around 80% of that time (other 20% is carto vaping)

Actually, I have not been lazy this morning, and have learned some new stuff. The T3 heads that are depressing me a.t.m. all have one thing in common. - They are originals, which means if they are in my vape box, they are old. The originals have 7 wraps, so they are easy to spot. So, I did another fresh one and found some remnants on 1mm wick (from a vivi nova) and laid the two little strands over the wick, in the same way as when you buy them. Works superbly... The mystery is almost solved.

I just wish I knew why people get weeks out of them but I find the coils gunk up and get bad flavour (which is not just on these, I might add) quickly. I have noticed that hubby's coils gunk up and start tasting burnt waaaaayyyyy before mine, even using the same juice, same clearo type and resistance and the same battery type. I think it's down to the way we vape. Hubby does the hookah thing, puff puff puff with the button pressed for as long as possible before the auto cut out. I vape more like I used to smoke, one long draw, let go of button just before finishing the draw, inhale, hold for a second, exhale. He also gets through a hell of a lot more juce than me, three 1.6ml clearos plus a couple of 808 cartos a day. I know he's vaping more often than I do, but not enough to account for the difference. I do believe it's all in the vaping procedure.

I do believe it's all in the vaping procedure. I agree. 100% I managed to destroy my first ever clearomiser (a stardust/CE4 that came with my Rivas from VapeEscape) in under 24 hours. Following that, I thought clearos were rubbish. The thing is, most of these things don't wick fast enough or effectively enough for speed-vaping and/or forgetting (or not knowing, in my case) to tilt/swoosh the juice. Learning curve and all that...... >
