Hi, just bought the riva 1100 kit and some grizwalds pick and mix from vapeescape website, all up and running and over the moon.....now...... Do i have to keep the cigarette "up right" so the liquid doesnt leak out? If so can you buy a holder when im out and about? Do i have to keep the liquid in the fridge? How long do the components last...batteris, atomisers etc. Any more tips about the riva 1100 would be greatfully appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help ??? :-[

Hello & welcome Wbafc No need to keep the Riva upright, it shouldn't leak. It's best to keep the e-liquid in a cool dark place. The Riva batteries should last you at least 6 months & even up to a year or more. It depends how heavily you vape & therefore how often you recharge them. Cartomisers can last anything from a couple of days to a week or more & the Vision ego clearomiser you got with the kit should last a week or 2. Again it depends how much you vape.

Hello & #welcome2# wbafc, Batteries should last for at least 300 charge/discharge cycles, and your 1100 batteries should last at least a day and you have 2 so 2 years for your kit is not unreasonable. Cartomisers and Vision tanks are consumable items, however the Visions should last a bit longer than cartomisers (if you have any in your kit). What is important is to have BACK UPS! as soon as you can afford them get 2 more visions or cartomisers, they will not "go off" and will be there for when you need them.

Hiya. I carry my Riva "any old how" but I did invest in a 99p toothbrush holder for when it has an expensive clearomiser on the top of it. I can get a week out of cartomisers, but when I was only using one or two at a time, I often got only a few days. Tips? use the cone, unless you like the extra air.... have a mini screwdriver close to hand to pop up the centre pin in the event.... (do this with it powered off.... ) If you got an included "CE4 clearomiser" take it SLOW and turn your ecig upside down (tilt, swoosh) so the liquid gets all over the wick as often as possible. If you forget to do this and go chain vaping on one of these, you WILL kill it off very fast.

Thanks everyone, loving the vanilla and cherry flavours. Think i will buy a toothbrush holder or something similar. What you prefer clearomisers or carts? Areyou sure it wont leak if the clearomiser is pointing downwards? Thanks again.

Just filled up a Vision V3 (updated version of the one you have) with Shire Malt and Virginia. I only use carts now for flavours I only vape for short periods....some things bore me.....now matter how good they are.

If you're going to get more clearos try to get the rebuildable ones as they're easier to maintain.
