Another flipping typical

I woke up at 5 this morning, something that shift work does to your body clock
At about 06:45 I thought I may as well do my normal 5 mile walk and get an appetite for me christmas grub- I looked up and saw clear skies so I thought I'd leave the umbrella behind, I managed to circumnavigate the lake which is about 1.3miles and then the heavens opened- Result= one soaked to the skin blakey >
I trudged back home and spent 40 mins on the exercise bike instead. when I finished that I stood at the living room window with a nice steaming cup of coffee and the sky lit up with lightening
Then hailstones descended upon london to the tune of crashes of thunder
That was when I remembered that I had left the trousers and shirt that I intended to wear today out on the washing line

Brilliant Idea, trick my body into thinking its had two days off

I just need to figure out a way of tricking my body into thinking it's still young and fit and I'll be made

I was wide awake at 3.15, my body clock is knackered anyway. Just got up and prepped all my food for dinner, had a game of Scrabble on line and won, read my book.
Got ready to walk the dog ,opened the door and it was p.....g it down, took coat and boos off,let the dog out in the garden with his waterproof jacket on cos he hates getting wet too!
Blooming rain, would rather have snow. ##
