pal region 4

hi there
I got a pal region4 dvd at Christmas. I was wondering if it was possible to convert it to pal region 2 and make a copy to play in my dvd player here

I don't think you can change the region to another region, but if you use a program like "Any DVD", that will remove the region/copywright and you can then make a copy that will play in anything

I'd do same as above but use Dvd Shrink to make a region free Dvd.

On many DVD player you can enter a code to change it to multiple region, just google your DVD player, you could be icky.

yeah theres a website called dvd hacks or something like that and it shows you how through your remote you can make most dvd players multi region. ib did a £16 dvd player from asda in under 2 mins

Sony are notorious for removing the 'remote' hacks as it was them who sat on the bench whilst region protection was devised, generally the cheaper (to encourage sales) units could be easily 'user hacked'

i tried dvd shrink but obviously i was doing something wrong and ive used up my 4 trails >
