I leave it screwed into the battery when taking the drip tip off to refill otherwise it tends to pull the carto through, being that there are no flanges to aid it you need to be a bit more careful but no, no leaks from mine at all.

How you finding it Taf?

No I dont bother, I lift the silver top cap off and fill that way, again, with your fingers and thumbs holding everything in place when putting the top back on, then I gently screw it back onto the battery before fitting the drip tip

That's what I do Sandra . . . a smear of vaseline around the tube/top cap makes it quite easy to pop off carefully with a finger nail.
