Been vaping a few months, enjoying it very much, no intention or desire to go back to smoking but I am struggling with lack of flavour with juices.
Have tried some from vapology, peach, raspberry, apple and cinnamon, spearmint, cherry.
Got two from pixie juice, jam doughnut and cooling pineapple.
Then tried alchemist cupboard, got 5 from there.
And various others, apple, cola, ice mint, cinnamon, opal fruit, spearmint.
Besides the alchemist cupboard egg custard, vapology spearmint and the pixie cooling pineapple they all just seem to lose taste after a few vapes.
I'm at the point where I'm sick of wasting cash on juices.
I use an ego-t battery and a mini nova, 2.4ohms.
I have a box full of juice and nothing to vape today, (can't buy the pixie juice just yet, custard is on the way - spearmint OOS). Got some opal fruit and grants vanilla custard before Christmas, they've been steeping just over a week, tested them today, same thing, no flavour after a few vapes.
Am I not steeping long enough? I steep for at lest a week, test, then steep more if needed. Am I using the wrong equipment? Picking the wrong flavours?
Any advice?

Hiya Jerri sometimes brushing your teeth, drinking more water, having more than one set up going or vaping a little menthol often gets the taste buds working again. I for one have 3 set ups sitting beside me so I can switch if the flavour starts to drop or I just fancy a change. I don't think it is anything to do with your steeping but it could be your taste buds just aren't working right yet you could also try changing the head on your mini nova to the 1.8 ohm one for the juices you are struggling to taste I find the 1.8ohm the best one for ego type batteries but again that depends on the juice. It's all about finding what works for you I hope you start getting more flavour because there really is nothing worse than vaping something tasteless juice.

Are you chain vaping? I find you have to take a break, vape a little less and savour the flavour. Flavours wane a little if you are continually vaping ... same for throat hit. My best experience is the first vape of the day

Jerri i have the same problem, tried loads of different juices, different set ups, standard voltage, VV, makes no difference. Personally i think its because my taste buds are shot. My last hope is finding a juice maker that does extra flavour. So far I vape to not smoke, but I don't get the pleasure others seem to.

I find you have to take a break, vape a little less and savour the flavour. Flavours wane a little if you are continually vaping ... same for throat hit. My best experience is the first vape of the day No, not chain vaping. Throat hit is fine thankfully. Vapology do extra and double flavour juice. Keep trying, once you find the right juice (mine so far is alchemist cupboard egg custard tart), vaping beats smoking by miles.

Jerri, I've been vaping for 2 years & still the taste buds are playing up. I suspect they're pretty much shot after years of chainsmoking & the meds I'm taking. Having said that, yesterday was brilliant, my fave butterscotch & GVC were almost overpowering. Today's a dead day for flavour I find all the tanks mute flavour so I use a Bauway 306 LR dripping attie when the taste buds have flown. Freedom Vape's Key Lime is a great palate cleanser to kick start the TBs into action ready for GVC & is a refreshing & pleasant vape in its own right. NB. Kev's offering 20% discount until midnight ~ XMAS20.

Nowhere near as nice as the alchemist cupboard, but I'll leave it for a few more weeks and try again. I will be ordering a dripping atty in the new year but I'd find it too much of a faf dripping when out etc.

GVC really doesn't need more than a week steeping but there's no point in vaping it if you can't taste it. Have you tried it as your 1st vape of the day when the TBs are most receptive? There's very little you can do when the TBs are AWOL other than vaping strong flavours like aniseed, mint, menthol & coffee. Be aware the strong flavours can taint your atties forever.

Also when steeping it's best to leave the cap / bottle top off and stick it in a cupboard .
I'm similar to Clutter in respect I have been vaping almost 2 years and still lose the tasters . I make my own ultra strong menthol which I fall back on , on most days .
