I work part time in a supermarket, and luckily not on the shop floor, but behind the scenes. However, when I do venture into 'the pit' I see some behaviour that you wouldn't tolerate in a primary school. In the build up to Xmas a colleague of mine received a very nasty gash to his leg, blood streaming, from a person just ramming their trolley through all and sunder. Not even an apology. Not a 'sorry' not even an 'oops' which would have been acceptable.

Why do we use a different brain when we're shopping?

I know this may sound daft to some, but i truly believe we are getting what we deserve from the younger generation nowadays. We had to bring our kids up in a PC world. A world where kids have so many "rights" and the rest of us bugger all. A world where they have been spoilt and have grown up with an overwhelming sense of entitlement. It has bred a generation of people who do not give a toss about anyone else but themselves.
Of course not ALL are like it but there is a rather large percentage.
