Hello & welcome Stu Although I think those batteries will most likely work in the Vamo, I really find it hard to believe they are 4900mAh

Stick with known vendors and recommended batteries such as Efest, AW & SennyBor Also IMR are a safer chemical composition Li-Mn. If getting Li-Ion then try to get protected batteries. There are many vendors on the board that might seem more expensive but they will probably work out cheaper in the long run. VapeescapeVaperstallThere are also many more trusted vendors on this site !

I've recently taken delivery of an eFest 18659 3200mah from VapeEscape and it's brilliant. Lasts almost 2 days with moderate vaping, and fits really snugly, with no rattle. Would order another one with no hesitation (but with a bit more in my bank account!). Having said that, it wasn't expensive, and should last a good few months. Andy

just to break the VE monopoly momentarily, the efest 2250mah here fit a vamo perfectly and have personally been in solid use each day for a month now. www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=23(PS: I love VE but wonder when this forum will be renamed AAVEC ... that's a vote of confidence by the way) there are discount codes for LF kicking around

Ash, could you post a link to those? I'm not sure that the op will know who LF are, plus their website can be a bit difficult to navigate at times, although that could just be me VE had already been mentioned on this thread and Stu seems to want large capacity batteries, don't we all? So I thought it prudent to post up the link and state that others had found the larger 18650s from VE too big!

The charger on the same site states it should only be used for li ion batteries so does that mean u need to get an imr battery charger or am I just being thick IMR are a type of li-on battery, just don't use the charger for your normal household batteries that you buy in Tescos or Homebase
