This might actually be the flavour that gets the missus off the ciggies

I let her have a sniff of the bottle and she was really interested in giving it a try.

Sadly she liked the flavour too much and has appropriated the remains of my 10ml bottle for cooking. Cooking!! > What a ridiculous idea!!!???

I've ordered her a Red Robust and a matching Kanger MT3 as a little pressie to convince her to use it for it's proper purpose.

Pfft! Food flavouring... What ever next!

I still haven't made my PVC, as the darn postie hasn't been kind yet. I do now have some Capella banana & some more of Frogster's yummy egg custard tart winging it's way to me. Oh & some Capella's spearmint. There, Perps, something different! lol

Both Pixie & Grant use Capella VC, so it's a variation on a theme Jess . . . like mine, Skwoddy's and anybody else's VC brew.

That's one of the pleasures of mixing to be able to put your own spin on a flavour.

I can't be changing your custom title mind you.

LOL, nah you're OK. I tend to like spearmint just before bed, which is odd, as I then go clean my teeth! ??? lol

That's OK then & I have tried my basic one & tbh, it's fine as is. It could do with a little something else & will get it as soon as, for now though, it's alright!

Good to hear Jess . . . it's a great starting point, the basic flavour as it is and it's fun to see how adding other flavours changes the overall juice.

Well I've finally decided to dip my toe in this mixing lark, ordered some flavourings, no idea what I'm doing, but I've never really visited this section of the forum so I guess I will do some reading over the weekend ready for when the stuff arrives, so hope it's ok for me to hang out here a bit, going to start off with Steve's recipe for the Banana & Custard, looking forward to it, must resist the urge to buy more things just yet

Remember it has to steep for at least a week. Two is better.

I just leave mine on the shelf with the lid off all the time. I waited two weeks before I started using it and it gets better each time I fill up the Ody.

My last batch of Vanilla Custard (100ml) lasted for three weeks. Can't have custard shortage, I now have 20 50ml bottles dedicated for it - let the mixing commence!
