Raggie, I've got to admit that yet again I'm in 2 minds about Vape88 due to their non compliance with distance selling regulations. I so want to find the best deals for everyone but I do agree that without a warranty, it could turn into a bad deal. Therefore, I'm now thinking of removing Vape88 from the suppliers list.
However, as Totally Wicked have the following blurb on their battery & atomiser multi packs :
We normally offer a 28 day warranty on the our Electric Cigarette atomizing units. However on our Multi-Packs each atomizer works out at less than £4 Each . Therefore we offer no warranty on this item. The atomizers though are exactly the same as the single units we sell,
So should I remove them as well?
I really do think that a lot of e-cig sellers need to get their act together. 18 months ago it was almost a case of we needed them more than they needed us as there was so few of them out there. Now we have a lot more choice of who to buy from.

to be honest i really can not see how they can legally operate this way. you would get your money back, but are they worth the hassle,do you want to buy from someone who starts the deal telling you if its broke hard luck. i wouldn't buy from them. but then some like to get a deal and take a risk,i dont. ragjoy

Raggie, Vape88 has some great colour choices in 901's. Foxy has recently ordered from them so it may be worth while hanging fire to see how she gets on with them? www.vape88.com/Vape88_DSE_901_s/38.htmoops just checked & it looks like though they have a lot of colour spares, they only have a starter kit left in the pink with white led. I haven't bought from vape88 - I've bought two 901 starter kids from OKSmokey, plus spare atties and batteries. I've also bought from Liberty Flights, TW and Intellicig. So far all atties and batteries are working fine with the exception of one faulty Evo battery from Intellicig. OKSmokey is a little cheaper with postage included but doesn't offer a discount (igetcha69), so ya pays ya money and takes ya choice. Fox

The reason I recommend OK Smokey and e-cigs.co.uk to newbies is that I know from experience that they replace DOA/faulty items, and they certainly are not the most expensive. They've both been selling ever since I started in Oct 08, so they're not fly-by-nights. There seem to be dozens more suppliers now.
E-cig retailers have a hard time of it, I reckon. They have to keep their prices down while at the same time offering replacement of a product which is essentiallly "cheap & cheerful" and liable to failure.

Simon is the bees knees, He really does look after His customers and if you have been lucky enough to chat with Him you will also know He is a lovely person But lets put things in perspective here...... I have no problem with sellers refusing to warentee bargain basement deals as long as they make it clear from the start . TW have 2 prices you pay your money depending on if you want to cover your butt or not . This is your choice and you are not going to get atomisers for £3 each from a UK seller with a warentee. That is like flying with Ryan Air and expecting BA 1st Class service. It aint going to happen

Its the Jason in me coming out Really though no one wants to work for nothing. Being from Scotland I love a bargain but I cannot expect the impossible. Our Government froze the council tax rates or whatever lable it has for the last 3 years. Yes its Great but they still have wage rises rising energy costs etc to cover and somewhere something is going to give. They, the cooncils, now have less staff and people are surprised they dont receive the same service The pavements were not cleared of snow because they had 30% cuts accross the board in the last 12 months . Do any of them offer to pay one penny more Noooo but they winge away like their their whole world is over

That's exactly the response in "my house" when people have been moaning about the roads & pavements not being cleared and the rubbish not collected and the pot-holes not being filled, etc, etc scylla
