The Panasonic CGR18650CH is probably the best easily purchasable battery you can get for these..I would just stick to those.. If you want more: www.apolloecigs.co.uk/product-p/ab18650.htmECR69 gives you 25% off on top..

Don't buy protected batteries for the Vamo, Zmax type devices... One they may not work properly because of the rating of the protection circuit and two they will be quite big/long due to the protection circuit and may not fit. Use AW or Efest IMR or the CGR18650CH and buy a Silver Bullet Hot spring for the VAMO.. So what devices are these suitable for Macca ? I'm a little confused when using a mod with no battery voltage indicator such as my Orion , can i potentially drain the battery to low and damage it ? Edit Just realised Youve answered this elsewhere, i must concentrate harder

Well this throws a spanner in my works. I was planning on buying Torchy or Senybor 18650's for my ZMax when it arrives from the co-op. So am I presuming correctly that these are a no-go, and I would be best off buying a Panasonic CGR18650CH? (Sorry to be so dumb, just need things nice and simple )

Oh, and since I am displaying my lack of knowledge, could someone point me in the direction of a suitable safe charger as well please?

Your can't go far wrong with an Xtar charger. I have 2 of these (back ups for back ups) www.vapeescape.co.uk/xtar-wp2ii-charger~408Others say that Pila chargers are considered very save though these tend to be on the more expensive side. Another often recommended make is Ultrafire but do beware as there can be unsafe fake chargers around and I've seen some scary photos of ones that went bang. Whatever you decide upon, make sure you get it from a trusted/reputable vendor.

Or these; ClickySenybor branded CGR18650CH. May need to use the bigger cap though on the Sigmax..

Many thanks for all the help. Went with the 18650 Rechargeable Battery (Panasonic CGR18650CH) this afternoon. Of course, just reading this thread helped the spending on shiny items bug, had to buy a torch (as mentioned earlier in the thread) since I had some batteries that would fit it. Just need to get my ass into gear to get the charger mentioned earlier now in anticipation of the Sigmax.
