Hello Levanti, welcome back to vaping Is the tornado kit similar to a riva/ego kit like this one? www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-ve-riva-1100-deluxe-kit~151does none of your old kit work at all? If your batteries and charger still work we could recommend another compatible battery and different things to try in place of your old atomisers!

Karma, the Tornado is TW's rebranded ego Levanti, the ego/Riva type e-cigs are still good ones to stick with. But it's far better to use clearomisers or cartomisers with them instead of the atomisers that you got with your kit. In fact it might only be your atomisers that are dead. However, if you want to upgrade, you could try an Ego twist or a Spinner - you can change the voltage to suit you with either.

thanks for the replies. my battery charger is broken i think. what is the difference between a cartomiser/clearomiser, and atomiser? do you get a better hit of the cartomisers? sorry if i am sounding thick. the batteries i was using were quite worn, so dont know how long i will get out of them. am i better off starting with another starter kit, because the only thing ive got of any importance is the juice. got about 10ml left

Hi Levanti.
As the others have said, your batts might still have life in them. The chargers should work still as it is just a USB one?.
Things have come along way though in two years, even with TW products (they lost my custom due to some situations that I have no time to go through on here).
Anyway, I still use my Tornado batts and they work great. They would be about 5 months + old and still get a good use out the "Megga" versions.
Now you have the Tank one (its basically an ego tank but rebranded and price shunted up) so search for: EGO TANK ECIG UK on google and you should find some good places to pick a setup for a good price. Your juice will be stuffed by now if it was not kept in the correct conditions so you will need a bottle of ejuice with your kit.
(BTW: the new style ego tanks (tornado) are infinatley easier to use than the old horrid carts, I personally love the simplicity of it all. You can even now get ones which consits of a battery, a cone with attomizer connection and then the only atty bit you will ever need to buy are the little heads that come in a pack of 5, I have one but it gives allot of burnt taste so I have not used it since.)
All the best and welcome to the forum, loads of good people on here!.
Happy vaping.

I think you would be better off starting again with a new kit. If you go for the Riva kit that Karma linked to (use discount code allabout for 10% off), then all parts would be compatible with your Tornado, so you would be able to make use of any bits that do still work.
An atomiser is used with a separate cartridge that you put the eliquid in. A Cartomiser is a cartridge with a built in atomiser. A clearomiser is similar to a cartomiser but without the stuffing.
With the Riva kit from Vape Escape, you get 5 cartomisers & a clearomiser with it - gives you a chance to try both & decide which you prefer.

Charlies quite a new vendor but everyone has found him very helpful. That ego kit is really good value and yes the battery will be very similar to the ones you have! some e-liquid is very overpriced I've not tried any from Charlie but Dekang has good quality control, taste is so subjective though, so it's best to just buy small bottles! Your old batteries and charger - have you tried cleaning the connectors, alcohol swabs are great for this or a cotton bud soaked in vodka! Also, sometimes the centre pin sinks in the battery, try this allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=tips&thread=10754&page=1
