Thanks Sleepyduck and all of you for the welcome, replies and help.been trying to order before 3pm! Been to the first link and wouldn't you know it, out of stock. Obviously very popular choice! Looks great too. So tried the second link which seems as good and put the discount code in. Hope I've done it right. Now for juice! Doubt we'll get it tomorrow though, we're about to be snowed in. Have to manage on the toy ones for now.

Hey, you're welcome If you're anything like me, it will take you 2 or 3 days to get used to using the kit, then you'll be trying as many different liquids as you can Good luck with the weather!

Thanks. so looking forward to getting something better. Been looking at all the suggestions as I'm sure we'll both want more than one model eventually. Didn't realise there was so much available. Totally lost. Will need to spend plenty of time reading on here..........

oh and Giles.....thank you for the advice, was all set to get the vamo simply because I need something that will work for longer than a couple of hours and don't know enough. Learnt about refilling the cartos from this site as I was throwing them away at first and they didn't last a day each. OH has now watched the videos and is able to refill ok with a couple of small bottles we tried as a trial. It's working ok, but I think the toy cigarettes are the problem, just not enough for our needs. No battery life and cartos are not great at all.Glad i came on here though!

Ha Ha.........I think my OH is going to get that way Sleepy, I've seen his eyes light up at some of the pic's he's seen on here of different gadgets, even though he hasn't a clue at the mo what they are......or what he would do with them. Ok, gonna have to look at the Provari now.........what is it exactly???

The Provari? It's a variable voltage thingy More importantly, it looks really nice Have you looked on Youtube for the videos by pbusardo? He has a really good introduction to vaping, reviews of various bits of kit (including the Provari) and so on... Well worth a look.

Tay, either a Riva 1100 Mah or an ego 1000 mAh kit, should last most folks all day between recharges (you get 2 batteries in the starter kits). The higher the mAh of the battery, the longer it lasts between charges. Ciggie lookalikes only average about 180 mAh.

Hi Millerkev We're up north, Derbyshire, near Bakewell, out in the sticks so to speak. Been looking for a shop somewhere close to local that wouldn't sell us something over expensive just because we don't know what we're doing yet. If you know of anywhere, it'd be great.

im in s yorks i have been to bakwell for visits only :-) very nice the nearest place i know of is manor top sheff i know its a fair drive and there may well be somewhere closer i dont know buts its will be well worth it i would reccomend a ego twist as if like me u start on the ego 650 u will soon want to move on and buy better ,,to compliment that i would recomend a few mini novas really easy to refill clean and u can change the heads in them for a couple of quid (you usually get a couple of spare heads with the nova anyway they cost around 9 pound and if like me u can expect them too last ya a good 4 months or so ,,and then like i say 2 quid per head (4/6 weeks) also whilst in shop you can try out sample juices get an idea of what you like baccy fruits deserts etcetc ..it makes sense i drive thru to barnsley every week to see my local vendor ,,he also does market in rotherham on a saturday anything your not sure just ask always too happy too help

Ah thanks Chrissie! been looking for that info for ages, kept seeing the mAh being mentioned but couldn't grasp what the difference actually related to! The simpler you can put it the better in my case................

I have almost no interest in the Vamo. Although I would get one if I didn't have a Lavatube (for use at home), it doesn't strike me as the sort of device I would use on the go. I have a Riva and Spinner, which in tandem offer me *ages* between charges. This week I've been trialing a tiny little Vision Crystal 400mah battery. It works just a well and will be a permanent feature in my vaping case either as a back-up to the other 2 or as a stealth device. I'm also not keen on the "big brother" Vivi Nova (3.5ml). Such hugeness.....

Thanks Millerkev And we're used to the driving, so Sheffield isn't far. Do you have the address? And I'll need to go look at the ego twist now and the mini novas.
