Hi I've got a couple of original screwdrivers from way back (does anyone remember these?) which I thought I'd resurrect but I need an adapter 'cause they're 901 fitting. Can anyone tell me a good place to get these.
Does anyone know if they will work with things like the mini nova?

Hi Liz I have a Screwdriver and I have 2 adapters on it so that it takes 510 stuff and skirted (ego) 510 stuff! I can't really remember what adapters I'm using and I can't find the thread where all this was discussed Some adapters here www.vapeescape.co.uk/adapters~163I'm thinking a 901 to 801 then an 801 to 510! But that looks like it could give you a very tall connection Health cabin do adapters www.healthcabin.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1094_1095&products_id=7850looking at the larger images, it looks like I have 901 to 808/901 then 901 to 510 Shouts out for Dave to help!

You'll need a 901 to 510 adapter for the Screwdriver to use a Vivi Nova Liz, one adapter will be fine as the Nova has a standard 510 connection.
It's only Visions and the like, that have a Ego style threading where you need a couple of adapters.

Thanks Perpetua I'm on my way now to give my screwdriver a second chance. But I'll probably be back - I'm so ignorant - I thought all 510 fittings were the same!! ??? No doubt you'll see me again Liz

for a vision on an SD you would need a 901 to 510 and a 510 - ego

There's the 510 Ego fittings Liz, which require an outer set of threads to use some of the clearomiser types that there now are.
If you have an Ego style battery, you'll see the two lots of threads quite clearly.

Perpetua, you are amazing. However do you keep up with all the new stuff? I've dabbled with e-cigs since e-bay days, but only became a non-smoker on 5th Jan. My next venture will be mixing my own juice Liz

Lol, thank you for the compliment Liz . . . but I don't not now, there's just too much new stuff coming out it seems on a daily basis. The choices are mind boggling now, compared to our early days of 901 atomisers and carts! When you're ready to start mixing, head over to our Mixology Board, lots of knowledgeable people there, who will be only to happy to guide you.

A bit late, but just to add something. The 901 - 510 adaptor works unless you have a skirted clearomiser. You used to have to use two adaptors for something skirted, but you can now get a 901-510/eGo adaptor from Liberty Flights which should work with anything.

Well this is weird. I had an e-mail from my DIL last night for an emergency loan as all but one of her batteries had packed up, so she picked up my one spare Riva today. Later on my daughter turned up and she was also down to her last working Riva - so I dug out the Screwdriver which I haven't used for ages, put on 901-808/901 and 901 - 510 adaptors and stuck her clearomiser on it, so she went off happily puffing it (with some Jack the Ripple in she pinched from my wife!). She was quite taken by it and is looking forward to showing it off to her vaping friend at work tomorrow

Hi Dave, Thanks for your help. I'm ordering some adapters from Liberty Flights I think. Can you (or anyone else) point me to the best place to get batteries? I think they are 16340. 3.7v seems to be the usual voltage. How does this voltage compare with the Riva say? Until my Innokin arrives I'm plodding along with three little Tornado batteries. I must have had them for at least three years and they are still going strong Liz
