Thanks, Chrissie, for explaining. There are times when all this technology stuff makes me feel like a right dinosaur. I can't imagine what you must be going through with this upgrade. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you have no mishaps on Thursday.

I hope everyone will be happy with the upgrade & the re-skinning (themes) etc that I've been working on The plug ins are the easy part, but you are limited to how many you can use before being charged for extra storage. So I've been mainly working on templates, style sheets & new header & footer codes. Proboards support keep saying everything on the admin side is so much easier - however, it is far more time consuming to add the slightest change. For instance, adding a code for something as simple as reply no's to threads or PM links to mini profiles, have to be added to every single theme separately But I'm getting there

Raggy, here is a thread (with video included) about global log in -

But it's now fairly simple (unlike when I moved to it a couple of months ago when it was still in alpha version). So all everyone will have to do after the forum has migrated is -

- Login with the same username/password as you do now.
- You will then be directed to Upgrade your account to a global account & enter a a new password)
- Make sure you tick the "remember me" box - that's it - you will then be globally logged in [/quote]

Not long to go now Lol, I'm getting a tad nervous about pushing the button I'll have no control over how long the forum will take to migrate (without styling/codes/templates) to the new platform, but as soon as it has migrated, I'll do everything I can to export & import everything from my betazone as quickly as possible.

A very big thank you to Gordy, he has created some fantastic new buttons & icons that I'll add to the new platform - hopefully you will all see them tomorrow
