Some UK vendors are very good, but there are some new ones just trying to cash in. When I check the contact details it turns out to be a (dodgy looking, on street view) private address. I worry about the small kitchen mixers starting out I know businesses have to start somewhere but the Health and Safety aspects and the field day that the authorities would have if something went wrong, worries me

Also agree with skipraider post a lot of theese sellers are just middle men buying from china and selling on for a huge profit from their spare rooms/garages etc.

I have a basic food hygiene certificate, that doesn't entitle me to cook anything in my own kitchen to take to work as my kitchen hasn't been passed by the local authority

And that was exacly my point there are no hygiene regs at all as far as i know for mixing and selling, Anything is better than nothing, and something will eventually have to be done before some scrub makes someone ill with a dirty or bad mix.

Is this compulsory or voluntary for liquid sellers ? Because as far as i can see its not compulsary meaning theres no regulation.

I also wonder about public liability insurance It really is a big minefield and my worry is, that if the vaping community doesn't put it's own house in order, then Big Brother will! Nobody will benefit from that Small steps though. all vendors here need to comply with DSRs, so an address and contact must be on their website. If any problems then did arise Trading standards would know exactly where to go! Hope it doesn't come to that!

Point is, it is a question of some form of standards or regulation. I would not be able to identify which vendor has poor standards and which one has good standards. I know which juice I like but I know as little about UK Vendor quality control for mixing and hygiene as I do of the Chinese vendors. In fact the only vendor I can recall from memory who does mention quality control is cloud9vaping and that is taken in faith ... there might be others
