Stuff's arrived now what?

Today was a happy post day, flavouring's arrived, nicotine arrived, already got the PG and VG.

I want to mix up a 50ml strawberry @ around 18 mg strength.

So if I put 1/3 approx 17ml nic juice
approx 60 drops flavour] 3 ml
20 ml VG
10 ml PG

Also the VG is really gluggy and difficult to pull up in the pippette, what's the best way to get it out of the bottle?

Is that about right?

Hello do you think it would be a good idea to make a smaller quantity first? Is it your first try at mixing? I'm really sorry I can't help you with your quantities because I am new to this myself . Have you used a mixing calculator? there are lots on the internet but I.m sure somebody more in the know will be along shortly My first mix was awful but I had great help and its not too bad now I only mixed 5mls for my first lot in case it was awful

With that mix you will have around 60/40 VG/PG at close to 18mg if your nic is 54mg, so sounds about right.

For VG i use a syringe as it can be a pain with how thick it is

Forgot to ask what strength is your nic juice and is it PG based? sound like I know what I'm talking about doesn't it

Mixing 80% VG and 20% Vodka or De-Ionised Water will make your vg much easier to work with, I have a seperate bottle for just that.

I was working on about a 60/40 - 50/50 so that's OK. Think I'll try mixing the VG with vodka as it's a real pain in the butt at the moment Thanks guys.

I don't really want to mess around with tiny amounts, especially if I've got to wait 3 weeks to try it, I'll be out of juice by then and end up buying again. If it's not strong enough flavour wise I'll keep adding a bit of flavour

Yes you can but remember, at the cost of weakening the Nic content and changing the PG/VG Ratios

and let it steep open top for few days watch it gradually change colour,as mentioned get some syringes there on ebay for about £1.65 for pack of 10 mixed sizes

Search about for a calculator (or two to compare accuracy results).

It takes the worry out of the counting. and doing it by drops is painfully slow.

Good luck and there are tons of calculators out there for Android / Apple / Windows / Linux and even ones in excel spreadsheets.

I've got syringes Andy, I find them just as much trouble as the pipettes LOL! The only ones I find that are wide enough to suck up the liquid won't fit in the bottles

Im certain a fruit liquid wont need 3 weeks Dee, give the bottle a soak in warm water and then leave the top off, id say 3 days to test, then if you like you can vape and make more
