Right I've decided to try and mix my own as i'm tired buying juice that's just not good enough. The flavour's i like are sweet and i'm not keen on any tobacco flavours, so where is the best place to buy concentrates from, any hints and tips are most welcome.

In order of my personal preference only:
Capella - consistently lovely the ones I've tried and give great end results. TPA - there's several I buy on a regular basis F'art - as above . . . plus their Vape Wizard is well worth keeping in. CCW/FW - equal billing on those, although it's just a couple from both of them I like to use.

CCW is lots cheaper, so I'd try them first. I thought their chocolate was as good as anyone else's (I tried 4). Not so sure about their coffee.
Also worth checking the supermarket shelf, just don't use anything that says it is oil-based.
If you'd rather avoid diacetyl, then probably better stay away from CCW and Capella vanilla and custard.

Giles, please stop saying that these concentrates contain Diacetyl when they don't, it scaremongers unnecessarily . . . what they might contain, as TPA's French Vanilla Deluxe does, is acetoin and acetyl propionyl.
Either one or both of these custard/vanilla notes in varying degree's of trace.

& how about tobacco flavours guys?..............sorry to hijack............ Chris I've only tried DV Statex and TPA DK Tobacco. I'd also like to understand more on baccy flavours Thumbs up on the Statex. The DK is very pungent and needs to be used sparingly else it will destroy any other flavours ... literally I use it at 2% of the total mix. Planning next month to try some others ... Burley or Latakia appeal

Decadent Vapours and The Perfumers Apprentice ... available from liberty-flights, ecigwizard etc etc ... I understand the F'art tobacco flavours are probably the better ones ... not sure where I heard that though

Giles, please stop saying that these concentrates contain Diacetyl when they don't, it scaremongers unnecessarily . . . what they might contain, as TPA's French Vanilla Deluxe does, is acetoin and acetyl propionyl. Therefore they might also contain diacetyl, right? I'm not seeing where the "don't" comes from. My understanding is that it's neither a 'yes they do' or 'no they don't' situation. It's a maybe. Presumably a bottle by bottle maybe. If I'm wrong about this, and have misunderstood the relation between diacetly and acetoin (which I've mainly gleaned from TPA's info on it), please let me know.

& how about tobacco flavours guys?..............sorry to hijack............ For the hijacking part - you can get some cheap tobacco samples here www.flavourart.co.uk/2ml-flavour-samplers-123-p.aspThey are only 2ml but very strong concentrate so not much needed. I followed Griz's mixing post on here for percentages to try out a couple of them
