I agree with you lordy, the clockworks RDA is hard to beat. The other dripping RBA that I have found to be good (and fantastic value!) is this one:

These work really well - you might have to replace the O ring with a decent one though

as far as drippers go clockworks is the best but the tight fitting of the tank means i need to use a screwdriver to prise it off which has led to damage of the base and tank so a screw on tank is the answer

Never quite got this dripping thing. Did it back in my early "ecig" times (the last time I started ecigs back in 2010/11) but couldnt see doing it as a full time thing. Load a tank up and forget = BLISS.

Mind you one tip..... Dont Drip and drive

update have placed order for kayfun v2 hope its as good as it seem to be in tods vids
