Happily vaping away on my Z-max & AGA-T about an hour ago, when I started suddenly just drawing air. Looked at the display & it was saying 'low load'.........fair enough, I thought,it's probably the coil needing tweaking. Piddled about with it & it fired up ok, so put the top back on, pressed the fire button...........'low load'......took it apart again...tweaked it.....fired it up..perfect.....put the top back on, pressed the button.........'low load'...ffs!!!!!!!.....anyway, 4 attempts later I thought, sod it, I'll re-coil it & while I'm at it, re-mesh it. Rolled & oxidised the mesh, made the coil & fired it up with just the coil.....perfect.......Eased the mesh in, put some juice on it, fired it up.........top coil glowing......Now the fun starts.........loosen the top knurled nut to adjust the coil wire........nut flies off onto the floor........30 minutes later, I still can't find the bugger, even though it couldn't have gone far. Had another Aga already coiled, so decided to use that instead for now. Unfortunately it has the filler screw missing, so I decided to take the one off of the one I was using that is now without the top knurled nut. Unscrewed it & dropped it.......That has now joined the knurled nut on the floor somewhere, but after 15 minutes rummaging about on all fours,I've given up looking for that as well. In order to take my mind off my loss, I decided to dismantle & clean the first AGA-T. I am now sitting in front of my pc, soaked in juice from my dismantling it because I forgot it was full up with Flue Cured, whilst unscrewing the tank as it hovered over my lap. I sooooooooooooooooooo want a fag!!!!!!!!..........................grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >

I wasn't wearing anything at the time....................on my feet I mean......... ...The annoying thing is, the screws are easy enough to replace ( I've got some on their way to me ), but I'm not so sure about the knurled nuts.

bloody hell chris nightmare. go and have a sit down and a coffee then come back and look, I find it easier sometimes when looking for screws and the like to use a torch so you see the glint off them.

Get a strong magnet (an old speaker is great for this) and sweep the floor section by section on your hands and knees with the magnet. They will turn up

Sods law says they are stainless steel, non magnetic.
Youll likely find it in bare feet one day

Go on here Keef has some AGA-T's stripped to sell off parts as others have prob done same as you see if he has the knurled bits you want www.vapegear.co.uk/product/parts

The magnet thing has been my saviour more than once - I got a magnetic, telescopic pick up tool from a pound shop so I can sweep over the floor without having to stoop.

Funny stuff, not what has happened, but the thought of someone metal detecting in they're front room to try and find a few knurled nuts off an atomiser.

Might be a bit late to do it tonight but if you put some fine mesh material (like net curtain, or tights) over the end of the vacuum extension hose and go over the floor, you should be able to pick them up easily enough. That's how I usually find the backs off my earings.
