Ok I've narrowed it down to two devices but which do I go for Z max for £50 or e vic for £60 both are kits I know the batts and chargers with kits arent great but I figured they would do for starters So the big question is which one? Any input would be much appreciated Cheers

Hi, I dont own either but just a quick point, The evic doesn't need a charger,it just has a usb lead

Depends what other devices you have, if you have a Vamo then go for the Evic. If you don't then go for the Z-Max IMO.
Are you SURE the Evic charges through the USB lead ???

Are you SURE the Evic charges through the USB lead ??? yes the evic can be charged via usb as to which is the better option i couldnt say as i havent owned either I just checeked the Joytech site and YES you can charge the battery through the USB - BUT! it says it MUST be a "high power USB port" a "Low Power USB port will not work" - suppose it's what constitutes a "High Power USB Port" that concerns me as it does not say what it is in mA.

I missed the co op for the Z Max because the cash wasnt available,looking at them at meets I'm kinda regretting I didn't rob some old lady and get one P-)

I've got a Zmax and a Sigmax and I really like them both. The Evic doesn't appeal to me personally as I don't really want it's extra facilities and the looks don't appeal either, but obviously lots of other people think differently!

Thanks for the input guys I am currently using vision spinners and vivi novas and was just looking for an upgrade. I think the z max is the one im going to go for then get an aga t to finish it off

The e-vic is a great mod functionally but unless you're willing to spend a bit more on decent battery tubes for it i'd go with the z-max tbh. The battery tube and top cap make the e-vic look very plastic & cheap. Cant wait for the SS tubes for mine

It is fatter than the original and with a better (OLED) screen - it is the one there have been a couple of group buys on and is also very good.
