Thing is I did it on a dry wick didn't burn any juice on it before I coiled it so I think it will need steady use till it wicks but at least I did the coil next time do the oxidise on the SS mesh.....to quote myself...got to learn to walk before you can run

looking good taz... no hotspots or anything as the wick was bone dry ie it had no juice burnt on it before i coiled it will it take a while to soak up from the tank or should i just go steady on it till it's had a ml or 2 through it? i don't want the burnt taste but if i do is there a way to get rid of it or just turn the wick over and re coil? cheers

I don't think you need to do that. If it was me, I'd just squirt a bit of juice (ew, gross phrasing there) onto the top of the wick, make sure it's saturated. But it should wick either way. If it doesn't, it's not because you didn't juice it, it's for some other reason, like maybe the wick is too tight or you didn't leave an airhole ....
???? I may well be very wrong, mind. I'm sure someone'll be along in a jiffy to set you right.

Well done Taz, wish I was that good stamina it's nothing to do with how good i've had the AGA for 2/3 weeks before i decided to have a go and i bought the pre oxidised wicks to see if i like them before getting all the kit to do my own just because my 4th attempt at a coil worked doesn't mean i can nail it everytime just takes a bit of patience give it a go i jumped from vivi novas to this it's amazing..........when it works lol
