I guess i might be able to Kelfen. When I finally decide what we are doing I could ring round local disability shops and see whats on offer. Although, now I think about it could be better to hire it from near home so i can return when the journey is over as i am sure we will need to have several stop offs on the way back. After posting on here, I had a quick Google & there are places around you that do short term powerchair rental & they deliver. So defo worth a look whilst you're in the thinking & planning stage. It would make your trip so much easier & enjoyable. If you can find one that has a Quickie wheelchair with a Powertec F16 (or similar), even better. As that is a 'comfortable' manual wheelchair with pop off wheels & a pop on powerpack, so best of both worlds.
