I bought 3 balls of this to make a small pram blanket www.kempswoolshop.com/wool_details.aspx?selectedItemID=208676080now I've used the larger pom pom yarn, it comes with instructions on the ball band to knit 2 stiches between each pom pom. This mini stuff has no instructions and doesn't have that bit on it where it tells you how many stitches you get to 10cm ??? Any ideas anyone?

If it's 2 ply & going on 10cm x 10cm, it'll be 30 to 34 @ approx 42 rows.

I was a knitter Karma until arthritis put a stop to it, I really do miss it, very theraputic. As to your problem, I have never knitted anything with that pom pom wool, Aran was my wool & patterns. Any chance you could give more details on what it is you are trying to do?

In all honesty, I haven't got the foggiest idea what I'm on about.... .......I happened to read the thread, was bored, so I googled it......... Now, for some unexplainable reason, I'm sitting here, reading all about wool stuff......I need to get out more.............

Do a tension square Karma, it's the only way to get a reasonably accurate idea of the stitches/rows that you'll need. Although over a larger piece, you can find your tension might vary a little . . . with a pram blanket it's not quite so critical though.

Knit 2 stitches between each pom pom..is that to increase/decrease the stitches you have on already.? Personally, I would just cast on until you get the 10cm on the needle, then just knit to the length required, but then again I have no idea of the effect you are aiming for as this wool is new to me. What is the pom pom bit referring to?

Is this hand knitting or machine?
I would just cast on however many looks right as you go, give it a go and see if you need to adjust.
