The 2nd LSE Meet

Well everything else aside it was a good night,I like to sit back now and think of it as a journey many like minded people shared together,Its always great to make new friends and meet those you met before,everyone was great tonight and maybe a bit of what happened earlier in the day/evening just made us stronger as a group,as usual I am not going to single out anyone any more than another because you were all fantastic out there guys,we have proved there is a big place for us in the South East and nothing can stop us.

Cheers to everyone concerned with this meet and as long as you still want me too,I will start working on the next one almost straight away.

Waddya mean still WANT you Alan? Ya daft bat!! What happened at the beginnng was NOT your fault so stop taking it personally. EVERYONE is extremely greatful for the effort you put in and I felt so sorry that you had all that hassle to sort out. You deserve a good night out as much as anybody else. But, all was well and ended extremely well in my book. I think we have got ourselves a group of very likeminded people together who know how to have a fun night out.
I cannot wait to meet you all again. I am sorry I didn't get to chat much to some people, but getting around all the tables was a little difficult for me.

Chris, you'll be very pleased that not only does Mr Dolly not mind me having your wood, he is extremely impressed with it and has stolen one for himself!! Well made and well done hun. xxxx

It WAS a rocky start, totally the fault of The Green Man having a different Manager on. Alan you did the best job you could given the circumstances. I fair to say I had a great time and hope I spent enough time chatting to everyone.

Ahem, errr, well I have a confession to make BC. Your raffle prize is still in my car
Long before the raffle I did ask Alan to let me know when it was staring so i coud send Carrie out to get it as it was in my glove box, but all of us forgot about it and the raffle was drawn. By the time i remembered it was all over. So sorry. But Alan and I agreed to roll it over for the next meet up and then, hopefully, you will be there.

Oh!! And for the record. Queenie got her first parking ticket last night!! When we came out to go home some miserable jobsworth had slapped a ticket on even though i had my blue badge up. I did not realise that tiny bit of road had a miniscule yellow sign saying pedestrian street on it ... bar stewards.

It was a great night despite all the obstacles at the beginning, just so sorry that I had to leave (again) before the raffles start....... bl**dy trains grrrrr!!!!!!!  

Want to add my thanks to Alan & Elfish and it was great finally meeting dolly & her daughter, darkginger and everyone else from the last meet.........glad to say chris was just as mad as ever
