I think I got it sorted Thanks for that tip re mesh size simon...I just went for cheapest like I said. I'm currently vaping a 70/30 juice so I might try an 80/20 and see if that helps. Can't afford more mesh till tuesday. Noticing the draw a tad tight. I don't think it was oxidised enough. I think that was part of the prob. And my mesh piece was too big. ..But Scott's piece on the cig wrap sorted out the hot spots Yay my first mesh wick - who'd have thought it? Now best and cheapest small (micro preferably) blow torch LOL Jane

Well, I got my AGA S going with the flat ribbon wire and it`s vaping great, got it at 9 watts, three turns ended up at 1.6 ohms, 400 mesh, so I`m pleased with that. I followed the vid on the product page on Vapegear from Todd.

Why do you have two o-rings on there robbie?
I just have one at the bottom...
I had probs with the air hole not being in the right place (next to the silica wick hole) so I just moved it, vaped on it and it sealed...
Anyone any idea where to get the o-rings from or like what measurements they are?

Yeah I want a cheap but good quality..I don't want one that's going to die quickly or like explode... Hence I quite like the amazon. Good reviews. Only bad reviews are from busy bodies moaning about the size of the flame. Unlike the silverline pen torch

Fantastic pics How did you rate the ribbon kanthal as opposed to the wire? I got on fine with it. 0.6 x 0.1 does give out very low ohms though so needs a few wraps. I got some 0.3 x 0.1 on yesterday but still not tried it yet. It is a lot more forgiving compared to normal wire like .20 kanthal and gives good coverage, I can't say it made the flavour any better but it made the setup a lot easier regarding no hot spots.

Mine was the thinner stuff, the vender didnt have what he originally was selling, vapers all over the world trying to get some of it (ebay seller). I`m glad I agreed to the thinner stuff now, thanks for the info

Robby how does the Aga compare to a nova, The Aga's look a nice piece of kit but are they really worth all the hassle of coiling etc, i mean is it worth me learning
