Personally I would recommend 0.2 A1 kanthal if your going to buy any. See Dee.

I have used 0.16 nichrome on it as well - had no problems. Shouldnt see any reason why your 0.15 would cause you any issues.

The major difference I have found is that the nichrome is likely to give you 2.0-2.4 ohms and the 0.2 kanthal will be more1.6-2.0ohms (with 4 wraps).

Sorted...used a combo of cig paper wrap and Todd's pulse method.

Used a different wire but don't know if it's .15 or like .2 but think it's kanthal cos I got it from buymywire...

That method doesn't work on mine. I have to go across the top? Any idea what size wick he was using?

Or do I just have to tip upside down and shake?

I've tried the silica on mine. Had 3 attempts ... first with 2mm, then 2mm+1mm wound together, then 3mm. Found it far too airy, reverted to SS then found out the juice freebie sample I was using didn't wick either. Might have another go with silica and decent juice when my SS wick dies.
