Hi people, still going good 5 weeks off the cigs and can't believe how easy it is. I started making my own juice, loving the fruit flavours and menthol mixes. Just bought the vivi nova stv tank and plinth to fit my ego batteries and running the 1.8ohm coil producing loads of vapour. I've been looking at various accessories and get the gist of atomisers and cartomisers but what's the pro's and con's of each please?

Which atomisers and cartomisers have you been looking at Steel? An atomiser is good for dripping, so good for testing new flavours as it's easy washed out and you don't fill it as such. A cartomiser requires filling, then frequent top ups, unless you pop it in a tank! Once your carto is filled, it's not easy to get rid of a flavour that isn't to your liking. I still like cartos though

It was tank atti's and carto's that I was looking at, I can see how the carto's absorb more than wicks of the atti's so don't clean as easy now, thanks. Is there much difference in life span vs cost that you know of?

So good to hear you are doing so well Steel Hope you don't mind, but I'm moving this from the Forum help board to general vaping board - you'll get far more replies there

Is there much difference in life span vs cost that you know of? Personally speaking, I find an atomiser designed for use with a cartridge a waste of time. An atomiser designed primarily for dripping is an essential purchase. Obviously a standard 510 atomiser can carry out both jobs. and a rebuildable atomiser is another story altogether....
