!!! Eastmall LR901 Atomisers!!!

I think the fact that we're all decent folk on this forum means we all understand and appreciate totally all the hard work that Perpy so kindly puts in by gathering and completing our orders, then posting the orders on to us (after all the work of sorting and making sure everything's correct.) The last thing any of us wanted, Perpy especially, was a problem like this.

I think we all need to make a stand against Eastmall and send these shoddy goods back. I know it's a pain, but personally I purchased 20 LR901's, I know there were many more ordered and although they are cheap by comparison, they're not cheap when you add them up.

Eastmall have taken a lot of money from us collectively and personally just as a matter of principle, feel they should put this right including the inconvenience of us having to return them!

I think it best to just send back the ones from this order in all honesty Hanow else it will muddy the waters.

Tbh Raggy & Dee, I'm not sure if everyone is going to send theirs back, not just Ian . . . so I'll just go for a SNAD on the ones I do recieve back.

What frustrates me the most is that EM had a great product then changed it . . .

I've got mine all parcelled ready to post. I agree Perpy, that's what is the most annoying! I've not had Eastmall 901's before so I can't comment on their previous ones.

I've only had standard that came with my SD which I was hardly using as it kept miss firing, then I ordered the ones from GH1 which were great.

The ones Hannow sent me work fine on my GG, but I will send them back if you need them. Apart from the one I sanded all the paint off. I'm not experienced in how a LR should perform so although they are working I couldn't say if they are working correctly.

Lee - the ones I sent to you were from my first order (Eastmall first order). I didn't include any frm this lot that everyone is having problems with. Thankfully, although I had packed some of those up for you, I saw the thread about them being diff. Thus I unpacked and started again. I sent you a batch that I had tested and were okay, but also 3/4 that I couldn't get to work (again, from the first batch). I was hoping that they may with a different gizmo. I only have a screwdriver with a 901 fitting, and have never found it very satisfying/successful. Thought that a different gizmo/mod may improve performance.

Hope that all makes sense Lee. As Perps doesn't want to muddy waters - which I quite understand - then there is no need for you to send them to her. Would be interested to know how many you managed to get going from that batch.

The ones you labelled dead? I'm using on my GG. I've only tried 2 so far but they're both working. I'll have to try them on my SD to see if they work. The connection on the GG sits right up so it has a good contact.

Just got them all out and tried them on my SD. They all work, fired straight away. I think mine is a SD mark1.

Hanow is it your SD you're not happy with? I've found mine is fantastic with a decent atty. You could try using a 510 LR on with an adaptor

Dee - I can't figure out where the weakness lies with it. I have had it over 6 months, and find it very hit and miss as to whether it works or not. >

I initially thought that perhaps the batteries were a bit duff, so got some new ones. No better I am afraid. Am just so fed up with it, have felt reluctant to spend any more money trying to get the thing going.

Am waiting to get a 510 GGTB.

Lee, when that lot first came, and I tested them, I only got 4 working (out of 10). Then tried them again at a later date, and got 2 more going - just! But the other 4 stayed 'futt'. So glad to hear that you got them going though. You must have the magic touch.

I was just thinking of Perpy really Raggy, and not wanting to create extra hassle for her.Also my dad has eight of them and me seven.It would mean my dad has to post them back to me and then me post them to Perpy.I will however ring him tonight and ask him if he will send me them back sharpish.As long as thats ok with you Perpy?and if you have a few days to wait before sending them back to EM.I will back everyone up regarding these attys if needs be in the future,it is totally frustrating.
I do see your point though Raggy,if for example as a group we ordered 50 packs of LR901s and only 30 get returned,EM will presume that some people are infact happy with them.I will let you know asap Perpy,last thing i want to do is let EM think any of us could be happy with these.

Hanow try this, not promising anything but it's what happened to mine and it's the stupidest thing ever.

Unscrew the bottom button and check the spring. I had to pull my spring out and it works perfectly every time now. Just stretch the spring out a tad and try it again

ian, it wasnt really directed at you it was just general really.
i was thinking if it went to a pp dispute and the lr901 part of the order was incomplete then they night say tough luck.

Yes mate,i totally agree with you as stated in my last post.I know you were just using an example.It makes perfect sense to try and get as many as possible returned.
