Being a bit more serious, I'd bet if she didn't have bad fingers, she'd be better at it than a lot of blokes. She used to do intricate soldering in the bomb factory!

Women are very good dexterity wise, we contain the nimbleness, the sensitivity and the patience in our wee little fingers.

Unfortunately arthritis is a blinking terrible thing, my husband has it in his hands as well and it really hinders him on times, his biggest fear is dropping a pint glass these days and insists on having the glass with the curve top thingy to help hold it.

Couple of weeks ago when I got the zapper from Mev, I'm sat at the kitchen table playing at joining some wires. My youngest lads sat there, laughing his head off at me. He says "why do you keep flinching when it zaps, you know it's coming". I said here clever ar£e, you have a go. To be fair, he was doing a good job with them. Then his mother asked him something and he turned round to answer her, touched the posts and zapped himself. I laughed that hard there was tears rolling down my face
