Right, now I've got it working (didnt realise i had to press the button!) It's good. But it feels weird. Maybe I am too hung up on the whole feeling like a cig thing after all. It does leave me feeling satisfied though - with the old ones I never got that 'full' feeling. Love the drip tip which feels so much nicer. I am definitely converted to refilling e juice myself as it was a cinch and the clearomiser is great but I'm not sure I'm sold on the massive battery...so might well sell on (its pink so ladies this ones for you). Can I get better fag sized batteries than the ones I have? Will live with it a few days and see though.... Hi lovesatenminutebreak Your post I've quoted above could have been written by me, I can SO relate to your concern about the size, but as I've been told so many times, size really does matter! (stop giggling at the back!!) I've only been vaping a few weeks, but have wasted money by trying to keep to smaller ECig types. I started off, like you, on look-a-like ecigs, from Tesco. I came here and got a bit of info, but was still hung up on size, so ordered a pink ecig that was really slim, about the size of a slim roll-up. It was rubbish. From that I went on to an e-cab, which is a bit larger than a normal cig, again in pink (cuz I went for looks instead of function, typical girly) and although I got on ok with it, the battery life was poor and I was forever charging and refilling the juice. I finally listened to the lovely people on here and ordered the Riva. When it came I thought it was HUGE . I didn't think I would ever get used to it! Already though, I'm looking at bigger battery types, although I'm very happy with the Riva for now, but I think in the near future I might seriously upgrade. I guess what I'm trying to say is, stick with it, don't get rid of your RIva, it's surprising how quickly you get used to the size. I was a roll-up smoker and rolled them so thin, people used to joke that I'd been in prison! If I can get used to the size anyone can, give it a few days and I'm sure that like me you won't even notice it anymore.

I just don't think I can get use to the enormous battery. Will put up with charging and replacing single battery I think. But i am definitely sold on the whole refilling thing! Want to keep all the rest of the bits I got except the batteries - I assume there is a second hand market for this? How do I go about selling them and what kind of price should I ask? Thanks.

I was also a 10 Motives user until "Converted" on this forum. It took a while but now I love my Riva, different cartos and clearos etc and still trying out loads of different juices. Stick with it and I am sure you will grow to love it. I still have my 10 motives batteries and a load of empty cartos which I refill and use occassionally when I feel a discreet Cigalike is necessary (the odd posh "do")

The batteries are likely to the same as the 10motives but the benefit with this kit is the PCC or Personal Charging Case. Basically you charge the case, once it's charged pop in your batteries & they get charged through the case. So while your out & about you can use one battery & when that loses it's charge swap it over & it will charge in the case, not sure how many charges the case holds though.
Power wise it's also going to be pretty much the same as the 10M, so a backward step really & that will also limit what kind of clearos you'll be able to use with it, but as a back up useful little bit of kit.

Better alternative to 10motives? Anything? except E-Lites.... I think you should count yourself lucky you were only using 1 cartomiser a day. Then again, in all honesty, you are probably almost half free of nicotine already....so maybe think about quitting. (If you have done 8 months on 1 carto of 16mg liquid, you are on less than half a pack of fags a day now......whooo hooooo) I did 2 months on 2 E-Lites e-tips (yes, £7.99 a day.....read it and weep DJS) and was never so unhappy/moody/irritable in all my life. Yes, I hate all these products. Yes, I should have given up totally at that point. Still, I've almost quit vaping as well now, so things are going in the right direction. Good Luck.

I thought this, when I'd moved from E-Lites to JacVapour. But in the long run, why waste money nudging your way up the "size" scale. It's not worth it (it really isn't). If you really can't or won't do big batteries, why not get a mini ego or vision crystal kit. I have the Vision one and use it twice a week.....far better than even the best of mini e-cigs.

Well.... Not strictly let true. I'm a bit of an idiot. Have up smoking when I got pregnant with my first and stayed pretty much smoke free for 5 years, 2 more babies. Then I got the itch, especially with a couple of drinks. I bought an e cig so I wouldn't go back to the real fags and now I'm well and truly hooked back on the nicotine and its taken over again. This makes me sad. I know I should work my way back down to quitting again but it just feels like a pleasure - I know I don't enjoy a social situation as much without a smoke /vape. However, I would love to cut out all the daytime vaping and just have a puff in the evening but I seems to be seriously lacking in willpower with this. I did it easy on the days that I am at work but when I am home with the kids it's so easy to reach for it. Although I never do it in front of them. Anybody manage to seriously reduce their vaping without giving up completely?

Me again. Looking for some advice on selling my riva kit - I have put a post on for sale board but no bites. Am I doing something wrong? Too expensive? Do people usually use PayPal? Or is it distrust of a new member? TIA
