How long a draw do you take no 6? to get good vapour you need at least a 4 second draw and longer = more vapour. And this with the above tank i linked

Hi number 6 i found exactly the same thing a week or two into my vaping experience and went straight for a vamo with a vivi nova head it will be so much better you may even find it gives you too much and you have to cut down the nic content, dont forget the vivi nova heads they are simple at the start once you have played with that setup you can play with the other heads later:) welcome and good luck:) Thanks will look into this one as well..... I can see lots of new toys arriving soon.

Those pre-punched carts work great with 50/50 too! The hole is big enough. Just a pain in the bum to prime.

Hi n6 and welcome from me too. Like Karma says, might be worth trying a lower resistance clearo. The other thing is, which mode are you using your battery in? If the LED is lighting up blue you are in regulated mode, which means the battery is putting out a constant voltage of somewhere about 3.5 volts; if you change it to unregulated (turn battery off, hold down button for 5 seconds until the LED lights up orange, turn back on)you will start off with nearly 4.2 volts on a fully charged battery and then it gradually reduces. This should make quite a noticeable difference if you haven't tried this already.

Yes I have tried it in both modes and it seem that when I change from one to the other there is an improvement for a few puffs, but then it settles down to lees than satisfactory for me anyway. Thinking about it, it might just be me after 40 years of smoking Marlboro and Old Holborn.

Just a quick question. I notice the cartomisers are 2.8 - 3.0 ohms. Is there a difference between the resistance used for these and for the clearomisers? Just asking because i'm now using 1.8ohm on my clearomiser set up.

Well n6 if you have found that the eGo in unregulated mode and a LR clearo aren't giving you what you want the next step if you want more power is to go for variable voltage/wattage. You can either go down the twist/ spinner route if you want to keep the same form factor or go for something bigger with separate batteries and charger - the Vamo is the cheapest option. These are good especially if you want to try the large tank options as they are similar diameters.
What I am not too clear about though is what you have tried apart from clearomisers? Have you tried a mini Vivi Nova for instance? You can get these with a 1.8 head and they might give you more vapour. Have you tried a LR cartomiser? More of a fiddle to fill, but cheap and worth a try. Apart from power, it is the thing that you stick on the top that makes the most difference, so I'd try a few different things first and see if anything suits you better.
