Does anyone know how long it should actually take to charge 18650 torchy 2000mah batts? Is that the blue one's? If so then I have a pair of those but have hardly used them. From memory they took 3-4 hours to charge on my Nitecore Intellicharge i4. Yeah its the blueones. Charging wise im not to bad, aslong as i charge as soon as i get in from work, otherwise im only doing half charges.

It's always better to top up a battery than it is to constantly run them flat, that also makes them last longer

If you are only discharging about half way then the charge current will only be starting of around 0.5 amps anyway. The charge current falls off as the battery charges so having it set to 1 amp or 0.5 amps will make no difference to the time to recharge from around half way. Having a 1 amp setting will only make a difference when the battery is lower on charge and can accept a 1 amp charge. So overall from flat there is not a massive difference in time using 0.5 amps or 1 amp to charge. I will hazard a guess at about 25% to 30% longer as not actually worked it out.
