Hi Matt, it sounds like you need to change the heads, does your liquid taste abit burnt when you vape ? did you get spare heads in the vivi nova box when you brought it ?

Hi, my names matt an i got a vivi nova tank for my ecg an it seems to be clogin up in the wick part were i heats up to vape, the wire coil or whatever has black gunk building up on it, it looks like! As Sadie mentioned its time the head was changed. It is normal for them to clog up. Some eliquid flavours will clog up the head a lot faster than others. Generally sweet flavours or liquids with a lot of colour. You can unscrew the heads in novas and wash them. Dry it and reassemble and give it a dry burn and most of the crud will burn off. Basically you need to look at the coil ad fire it for a few seconds at a time until steam and smoke comes off and it dries fully then starts to glow dull. Keep firing without letting it get too bright and the carbon turns to ash. You will probably get a plastic or burning taste for the next few vapes after refilling but should clear fairly quickly. There are loads of videos on you tube explaining what to do, and I know its a bit rude of me just to refer you to youtube and do your own search, but if I remember I will find some in the morning and post unless someone beats me to it. The easy way though is just to replace the head with a new one. Atomisers also last a lot longer if the get long rests, so running two at a time helps and you get a lot longer than twice the time before cleaning. Seems to be the juice in the tank slowly dissolves the crud which has started to built up when they are resting.
