Should E-Liquids show PG/VG mix & ingredients

Apologies if this has already been talked about, but as a newbie I've found it a bit frustrating that vendors don't always list at very least the VG/PG mix and ideally all the ingredients in their liquids.

I understand that ingredients can be seen as a bit of a "secret sauce", but I think it would help the case in the legislation debate, and from a personal point of view I'd like to know what I'm vaping. It would also be useful for people who have allergies, intolerances or just want to make choices (I'm thinking veggies, vegans and people who try to avoid particular chemicals).

Ideally it'd be nice to have the information on both the bottle and the websites.

Obviously Vendors vary, I've used Alchemist's Cupboard a few times and they have a really nice clear labelling system which shows VG/PG mix and a nic warning. I originally bought from OKSmokey and I still have no idea what the VG/PG mix is (although I found a forum entry that suggested 100% VG) and I've also bought from VapeEscape who's site mainly shows the mix, but not for all liquids (some just say it is a mix).

None of the Vendors list ingredients and it seems a bit mental that if I eat something they have to tell me what I'm eating (unless it's horse), but I have no idea what I'm inhaling.

Finally, I'd just I'd like to add that I'm in no way singling out the above Vendors, in fact they're mentioned because in terms of service they have been excellent, and I think they're well trusted.

It would be interesting to hear the Vendor point of view as well.

Just a wee note to say I checked an Alchemist's cupboard bottle and it does have ingredients, so I was wrong! Although it doesn't say exactly what's in the flavourings...
