What a great game it was until the referee decided to send Nani off. Completely changed the game. Like I said I'm not a Man united fan, but I do feel for them tonight.

Roy Keane certainly isn't going to get back onto Sir Alex's Christmas card list anytime soon!
It was a far better game than I was expecting, and was spoiled by the incident. It definately wasn't intentional but I guess it's how you interpret the rules, as the TV panel said.
I was impressed with C. Ronaldo's behaviour and respect after his goal and at the end of the game. He has really grown up. kudos to him.

Leg chest high........exposed studs...........rules are rules unfortunately...........ref didn't really have any option I know it depends on the ref, but i class this as chest High but this guy only got a yellow. Also i think if Nani got up instead of rolling on the floor he may have got a yellow. The ref had far to long to think about it and no doubt got some help from the officials in that time. I'm fuming lol

Did you hear what Jose Muhrino said just after the match "The best team lost tonight". I had streamead a live feed to watch as I was away from the telly and after Jose said that as he walked away you could clealry hear him laughing and saying "I told them a pack of lies" you did'nt see that on ITV as they went back to Adrian Clies etc.. * the last sentence may not be true!

I am a United fan , and a football fan , the interpretation was by the ref over the top . We have seen similar so many times in the premier league , for me the sending off just spoiled a good game , the chosen one summed it up saying the best team lost .... simples Jose for next united manager

sorry I know I will be flamed for this and I apologise to any Man U fans..............but it made my night seeing the disgruntled expression on "old red nose's" face..........I find him a very arrogant man who needed taking down a peg or 2 and last night was it!!

Going by the rules of the game the sending off was correct So does that mean everyone who attempts an overhead kick from a corner or in a crowed box will get sent off??

What a great result, great to see Fergie pulling his hair out.He is without doubt the best manager around but being a Leeds fan it made my day.

Payback for the numerous "dubious" decisions that go the Mancs way at Old Trafford season after season in the premiership & absolutely no class shown from old rednose and his players after the defeat .

This happens all the time in rugby, the ref ruining the game by sin-binning a player unnecesarily but letting worser offences slip by. Annoys the hell out of me.
