Vamo Setup (Ohms and Wattage)

Think I need a couple of gallons of water and a run round the garden. Only vaping 12mg juice atm while doing these trials but I may pass out otherwise

I was doing some work at Centronics in Addiscombe(Croydon) the other day, dropped a few hints about needing some non-res wire and kanthal etc, didnt work

Bet they had loads in a skip around the back heh.

I recoiled my Aga-T2+ last night with .25 which came out at 1.1ohms but that was too low for the Vamo, added another coil and got 1.3ohms which was mental lol. I recoiled it again with .20 and that came out at 2.0ohms, bit higher than I normally use with the Aga but all is well. Using 6.5 watts at the moment but have been going up to 12 watts but averaging 8 watts.

One of my Novas is 1.5ohms and the other is 1.3ohms.

Did you think about adding a turn or two and double coiling the Nova, wicked vaper with two coils in it, should end up at about 1.3 or 1.4

Have one sitting just above the other and then bend the leads down and twist the wires together so one is actually directly above the other in the "slot" but not touching each other, kinda piggy back style. Then feed the twisted wires as usual as if they were just one wire. It is advisable to cut a slither of the silicone off the top cap to prevent strangling the wicks as you would then have two in the slot.

Kinda like that   That will give you 1.4 ohms in total as they are in parallel. So you also then have 4 times as much metal surface area than you would with a single 1.4 ohm coil, so loads of vaper, loads of wicking ability and you will find that the coils last longer because you have more metal doing the work and spreading the load

Mono it does sound like a connection issue

Try raising the centre pin on the vamo.... in the connector bit...might help

Never used the VV bit...........always use VW at around 8.5-9 watts.

Mine is the same set at 7.0w but keep getting Lo for the V, have just change the juice though that shouldn't make a difference should it? I hope to god it's not the centre pin, I have had enough of that palava with the twists.

I have switched back to the Twist and my nova, but Oh dear it is not half as good as the Vamo, and I thought the twist was the business!

What resistance reading are you getting normaly on it?

Robby, I have only had it a day , so I don't really know a lot about setting it, but it was fine vaping on 7.ow but now it is saying lov and I don't what I have done to change it,only changed the juice in my nova?
I have put it away now I am so disappointed and frustrated. This Twist I am using is like going back to SDK.
