Just interested to know what setup people use on their Vamo. Resistance of atty vs wattage/voltage. Mono With a Vivi Nova 2.8ohm I find the optimum is around the 7W mark. VN @ 1.8ohm, 5W DCT @ 1.5ohm, 7W. So wattage mode lets you use low resistance attis ?

I don't think there is anything wrong with it, it just needed the battery changing. This Vamo is a learning curve for me. Spoke too soon, it's gone again, back to LOv. Without the nova it is reading 1.1. resistance 3.Ov. With nova 3.5W LOv GRRRRRR What brand of batteries are you using? Efest IMR and an XTAR charger

What brand of batteries are you using? Efest IMR and an XTAR charger As has already been said, your ohms are way too low. 1.3ohms is the minimum that will work.

I have mine set between 9.0w and 11w depending on juice and time of day and juice abilities. Early morning and late at night I have it lower, when I'm more awake, I tend to crank it up a bit.
Some juices, particularly ones with more PG can't handle the high temperatures and usually become too harsh. The Pipe Sauce - Long Bottom Leaf I exclusively vaped a full 30ml bottle of however, can go upto about 12w before it gets nasty.

Simon...What do you mean .my ohms are way too low? The nova mini I have has 1x.1.8 1x 2.8 and the 2.4 which I am using now?

That was exactly the same way i used my vamo, low and then high, but used vv instead as i like that warm feeling of juice

If you have no atty on the Vamo, the ohm reading should be 9.9 (same as if you had no contact being made) It will always read 3.0v or 3.0w when you first put a battery in, until you adjust it.
LOv usually means flat battery or spring problem.

A quick question, cos I don't want to launch into a full explanation, but do some of our newer vapers know why there are SR/LR attys/cartos etc?

Voltage is the only variable there if you are using the same atty. The beauty of VW is that no matter what resistance atty you put on the Vamo it will give you the same amount of power (watts) every time and therefore the same amount of heat, vapor etc

With nova 3.5W LOv" I misunderstood what you said before. read it that the resistance was 1.1ohms but that's without anything on it yes? Mine says 9.9 ohms with no atty on it. I actually don't know what is wrong then.

LOv usually means flat battery or spring problem. Mine remembers the settings when I take a battery out and put one back in as should all V2's. It could be The Phoenix has a V1 because they don't remember the settings when the battery is removed. Maybe try stretching the spring a bit?

A quick question, cos I don't want to launch into a full explanation, but do some of our newer vapers know why there are SR/LR attys/cartos etc? I am not certain, but I think it is to do with what kind of device you use. If you have a mechanical mod and have a high resistance atty on it you can only get so much power used, so if you have a 3 ohm coil on a 4 volt battery you will be burning 5.33 watts of energy. If you then put a 1.5 atty on the mod with the same battery you will burn 10.66 watts. So the lower resistance atty will give you twice the vapor production on a mechanical mod. It will also be a warmer vape of course. www.sengpielaudio.com/calculator-ohm.htmThat is a great link for working out power etc. You put in any two of the four variables, ie Volts, coil resistance (ohms), power(Watts) and current (Amps) and it will calculate the two other values.
