Just wondering what's in chocolate? Thats addictive too That'll be the sugar, then. I gave up all sugar and sweeteners in food last August, so an additional pleasure for me in vaping is having found the chocolately/sweet flavours of juices. Loads of taste without the carbs I refuse to look at the credit card statement. It may scare me - I *think* I'm up to around the €100 mark (which probably means double that, I have a selective memory when it comes to shopping), and that's in less than 2 weeks - but on the plus side I've already covered the cost of the original eGo Twist starter set (€56), and it won't be long before I'm in 'profit' - a 30 a day habit (tailor mades, not rollies) is expensive! I just have to resist any more shinies for a while. I can do that. Probably.

Ewol, if it's any use, below is a 'quick and dirty' graph from a spreadsheet I keep for monitoring my costs. The vertical axis is in £s, and the horizontal is the purchases of vaping gear over the last 8 months. As you can see the first few months get you wondering, then, unless you're addicted to the shineys, the savings really kick in. Hope it helps to reassure you Edited to add: these are net savings, over and above what I would have spent on fags.

That's very interesting reading Raffles - I wish I had started something similar whien I started vaping, but now I'm nearly 6 months in, it thinks it's a bit late now! Thanks for sharing that though Andy

Thanks for sharing that though Andy It's never too late Andy It just starts from whenever you want, and is a really good incentive to keep going!

When i first started someone on here said to keep an eye on what you spend. The shiny stuff is very tempting. Didn't have a clue what they were on about ........then All those websites and all that shiny stuff But I have kept a log of what I bought and what I want... Top of my list - Custard juice - which is best?

Top of my list - Custard juice - which is best? Now there's a hell of a question... I think sending Grant a fiver to try 10ml of GVC is generally a good idea - if you like that (and you probably will) then you ave a very decent base to work from. I'll be ordering some more of it at some point, but for now I'm vaping DCB which I think I prefer overall

Nothing to worry about, start up costs, you have all the kit you need now. Have another "calculate" in a few months time and see the difference agree totally ,my costs dropped significantly after my 3rd month by which time id sourced a few good bits of kit ,narrowed to just buying liquids i knew id vape and clearo's,tanks that didn't fail after 1 or 2 days.
