I cant wait to hear what happens tomorrow.I bet you come out that garage with a totally different mod Ive had problems with adaptors before but luckily the pliers did the trick.I tend to add them with caution now and not screw them on to hard.Even better i just dont use the bloody things at all.If you break your adaptor in the carnage Kat i have plenty of spares your welcome to

What runs through my mind is a completely destroyed garage and all it's contents except for the atty which still has the adapter firmly attached to it. LOL

I have posted the mod back to you for repair, and I am very sorry for the damage my short temper and ham fisted attempts to remove the atty from the adapter caused I have to admit I was using your lovely 109 to try and free the thread (stupid, stupid, stupid.)

I am hoping I haven't boogered it up beyond repair!

I have not sent the atty, because I don't want you to see what I have done to it, and I can't reach it at the moment.

I popped it in the freezer overnight and then took the kettle and gently (yes gently) poured over the atty, all to no avail, I thought about what Ian had said and decided not to swear for the time being. I am sure it would have worked for Camperman, but I am "Dig it and dump it, living in Suffolk."

I put it in the vice and started grinding, (very satifying I must say) and then I freed the vice to turn it round and.......
